Tragic Fire at Bhaktapur Cow Farm Kills 10 Cows

A devastating fire broke out on the 11th of Baisakh at a cow farm owned by Ishwar Neupane in Dadhikot, Bhaktapur. Ten cows, along with shelters and equipment, were destroyed resulting in an estimated loss of Rs. 1.8 lakh and 90 thousand.

Local police and residents worked together with a fire brigade to control the blaze. Authorities from Thimi Bhaktapur are currently investigating the cause of the fire.

This incident is a somber reminder of a similar tragedy in 2074 when 45 cows were killed in a fire at Om Krishi Farm in Kathmandu.
