A devastating bus accident occurred on Wednesday in the Galaudi region of Dhading Gajuri, resulting in the loss of six precious lives. The ill-fated bus, en route from Kapilvastu to Kathmandu, plunged into the treacherous waters of the Trishuli River, leaving a trail of chaos and sorrow in its wake.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Madan Kunwar from the Gajuri district confirmed the heartbreaking details of the incident. According to his statement, the bus carried a total of 40 passengers, many of whom were fortunately rescued and swiftly transported to nearby health facilities for immediate medical attention.
However, the grim reality of six fatalities cast a shadow over the rescue efforts. DSP Kunwar revealed that the search and recovery operations are still ongoing, with the diving team from the armed police force leading the charge at the accident site.
