Nawalparasi: Three people were injured in a truck accident near Chormara on the Mahendra Highway on Thursday morning.
According to DSP Bed Bahadur Paudel, the injured include the truck driver, Amrit Dhungana (26) of Dhading Neelkantha-4, his wife Kalpana Dhungana (20), and co-driver Basanta Gharti Magar of West Nawalparasi Barda Ghat.
The truck, bearing registration number BA 03-001 Kha 1420, was en route from Rupandehi to Kathmandu when it veered off the road near Chormara, between Kawasoti and Arunkhola, and plunged into a 10-meter ditch.
Kalpana Dhungana has been referred to Trauma Center in Kathmandu for advanced medical treatment.
