A Turkish Airlines flight from Istanbul experienced a near-miss incident while landing at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. The aircraft overshot the runway during its landing attempt, scheduled for 6:10 AM.

Airport officials attributed the incident to a “missed approach,” while air traffic controllers reported an “unstable approach” as the probable cause of the overshoot. Fortunately, the plane landed safely shortly after.
