Two Arrested in connection with Sundarijal Murder

Kathmandu: Kathmandu District Police Complex has arrested two individuals in connection with the murder of a woman in Sundarijal. The victim, whose name has not been released, is a Siraha native currently residing in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-3, Basundhara.

The arrested suspects are 40-year-old Ram Binay Mahari from Sarlahi’s Chakraghatta Rural Municipality-3 and 24-year-old Santosh Ram Mahara from Sarlahi’s Basbariya Rural Municipality-5, who is also a resident of Basundhara.

According to District Police Complex Kathmandu Spokesperson and Superintendent of Police Nawaraj Adhikari, the investigation began after the woman’s body was discovered inside a stone shelter in Gokarneshwor Municipality-1, Sundarijal, on September 5. Ram Binay and Santosh were apprehended from the Basundhara area on Saturday.

The District Police Complex Kathmandu has not yet contacted the victim’s relatives.
