Bardiya, Nepal – Two individuals lost their lives in separate incidents in Bardia district.
A 4-year-old girl, Diksha Yadav, drowned in a pond near her home in Gulariya Municipality Ward No. 3. According to local authorities, the pond was used for tile manufacturing.
In a separate incident, a 21-year-old man, Asmin Gaddi, died from electrocution. He suffered severe injuries after coming into contact with a faulty fan and succumbed to his injuries while receiving medical treatment at Bardiya Hospital.
The District Police Office in Bardiya is investigating both cases.
