Two separate incidents in Chitwan resulted in the deaths of two individuals.
A 50-year-old man, Chandi Prasad Adhikari, from Bharatpur Metropolitan Municipality-7, succumbed to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. The collision with an unidentified vehicle occurred at Ashok Chowk in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-8. Adhikari was rushed to Chitwan Medical College but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
In a separate incident, 33-year-old Gambhir Chepang from Kalika Municipality-10 was swept away by the Kayar Khola river while returning home from Siddibazar on Thursday. His body was recovered on Friday morning.
Local authorities are investigating both incidents.
