Balrampur: A tragic road accident occurred on the Nepal-India border near Kasani, claiming the lives of two individuals who were returning to Nepal to celebrate the Hindu festival of Bhai Tika.

The accident involved a Hyundai car (PB 10 JN 6199) and a roadways bus (UP 47 T 2703). The collision resulted in the unfortunate deaths of Dinesh Belbase of Kapilvastu Banaganga Municipality Ward No. 9 Bardhawa and Anil Sapkota of Gaindakot Municipality Ward No. 6.

Sharda Belbase, the wife of the deceased Dinesh Belbase, along with Tek Bahadur and his wife Dhankala, residents of Banaganga Municipality Jitpur No. 4, sustained injuries in the accident.

The Balrampur Police Station has issued a press release confirming the details of the incident. Further investigations are underway to determine the exact cause of the accident.
