Chitwan, Narayani Province: A truck accident and a pedestrian hit by a microbus occurred on Sunday morning in Chitwan district.
A truck with the registration number NA 6 KHA 6283 was involved in an accident at Bharatpur Municipal Corporation-29 Simaltal along the Narayangadh-Muglin road. Details about the truck accident are currently unavailable.
In a separate incident, a 41-year-old pedestrian, Suklal Gurung from Tanahun, was struck by a microbus (P 3-01-005 KHA 9766) while crossing the road at Gaighat. Gurung sustained serious injuries to his head and legs and is currently receiving treatment at Chitwan Medical College Teaching Hospital in Bharatpur.
The Chitwan District Police Office is investigating both accidents.
