Kailali, Nepal – Two separate snakebite incidents have occurred in the Kailali district, resulting in one fatality.
A five-year-old boy, Arun BK, lost his life after being bitten by a snake while sleeping at his home in Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-9. The incident took place last night, and the boy was rushed to Seti Provincial Hospital for treatment but succumbed to his injuries around 2 AM.
In another incident, a 33-year-old man, Sagar Bista, was bitten by a snake while tending to a fire at his grocery store in Godawari Municipality-6 Lalpur. Bista was bitten on his right leg and is currently receiving medical attention at Seti Provincial Hospital. While his condition is reported to be moderate, authorities are closely monitoring his progress.
