Kaski: Two Spanish tourists have gone missing while trekking to Ghorepani, a popular destination on the Annapurna Circuit.
Eric Kasanovas and Molass Junka Missi from Spain were last seen leaving Tikhedhunga in Kaski on Sunday. Their disappearance was reported after their belongings were abandoned near the Bhurungdi River bridge.
Local authorities, including police, have been searching for the tourists since their disappearance. There are concerns that they may have fallen into the river, as their bags were found near a scenic spot known for its picturesque views.
A divers search team is now deployed to search the river bed. The Spanish embassy has been notified of the incident.
