A young child has died in a heartbreaking accident in Mugu district, Nepal.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Birendra Thapa, two-year-old Suprim Rokaya was struck and killed by a tractor on Sunday afternoon. The incident occurred Sunday around 5:00 pm on June 30, while Suprim, son of Rajkumar Rokaya from Chhayanath Rara municipality-4, was playing on the road.
Tractor Lu 5 Ta 314, driven by 22-year-old Dhan Bahadur Baduwal, was traveling from Gamgadhi market to Balai village when it collided with the child.
Suprem was rushed to the district hospital in Thani but succumbed to his injuries. The driver, Dhan Bahadur Baduwal, is in police custody.
