CPN-UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel was involved in an accident at Dailekh. According to UML leader Bishnu Rijal, the incident happened on Saturday at about 3:00 PM near Chupra Bazar in Dungeshwar, Dailekh.
Pokharel was on his way to open the 8th convention of the UML’s Dailekh district committee when the disaster occurred.
Rijal revealed that the vehicle carried five people, and Padma Khadka, Karnali’s deputy secretary, was injured in the collision.
Dailekh District Police Chief, DSP Kishor Lamsal, confirmed Pokharel’s safety and stated that the vehicle was taken from the road and transported to a local garage on Saturday.
