Lately, many of the most popular Shonen Jump mangas have come to an end. Last August, My Hero Academia published its last chapter and Undead Unluck will do the same with its 239th chapter.
Undead Unluck is the manga by Yoshifumi Tozuka and his first serialized work. With only 3 one-shots prior to the publication of this work, Tozuka began publishing Undead Unluck in Shonen Jump on January 20, 2020. So this story will end almost exactly five years from its first volume.
Despite being its creator’s first serialized work, Undead Unluck quickly gained both awards and popularity. In 2020, the year of its debut, the manga won first place in the sixth edition of Kadokawa’s Next Manga Award. And it has currently sold more than 2 million copies.
In 2022 it received a 24-episode anime adaptation by David Production, the same studio as JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. Additionally, it was confirmed in August that Undead Unluck would be receiving a one-hour special later this year.

What is Undead Unluck about and where to watch it?
Undead Unluck follows Fuuko Izumo, an 18-year-old girl who has the “ability” to bring misfortune to everyone who comes into contact with her. When she was little, she accidentally caused the death of 200 people, including her parents. The only thing that kept her alive despite this tragedy was her favorite manga, but as it came to an end, she decided to commit suicide.
However, he meets Andy, a mysterious man who seems to suffer from the opposite curse: he cannot die no matter how hard he tries. This unusual duo begins to be pursued by a mysterious union that wants to use their powers on secret missions. You can find the anime adaptation on Disney+.
