An unidentified man was found deceased in the open square near Shankaracharya Gate, Birgunj Metropolitan Municipality-16, on Sunday evening.
The Parsa District Police responded to the scene after receiving reports of a body. The man, estimated to be 25-30 years old, was clothed in a black shirt, blue T-shirt, black jeans, and brown shoes.
Police are currently working to identify the victim. In the meantime, the body has been transferred to the Narayani Hospital mortuary.
Authorities observed blood on the man’s face and a full investigation is underway to determine the cause of death.
