Veteran Journalist Chetan Pant dies at 66

Veteran journalist Chetan Pant from Rupandehi has passed away. Pant died on Sunday night, August 4 at his residence in Durga Colony, Siddharthanagar Municipality-6.

His brother, Rabi Pant, stated that the 66-year-old journalist had been battling cancer for two years. Recently, Panta had been staying at home, where he succumbed to the illness on Sunday night.

Throughout his career, Pant worked with several media outlets, including Image Television. In recent years, he dedicated himself to promoting Lumbini, traveling to various countries, including the United States, to exhibit photographs of significant landmarks such as Mayadevi Temple, Ashok Pillar, and Shanti Deep.

Pant is survived by his wife and two sons.
