A severe wildfire is burning in the Resunga forest, a historic and ecologically important site in Gulmi, Nepal. The fire, which started on Saturday afternoon, is spreading rapidly due to strong winds. Communication infrastructure, including Radio Nepal, Nepal Telecom, and Ncell towers, are at high risk.

Local authorities are struggling to contain the fire, with limited resources and difficult terrain. The district only has one fire engine, which cannot access all areas of the burning forest.
