Woman Dies from Snakebite in Siraha

Snakebite in Siraha

A 30-year-old woman, Roshina Khatun, from Choharwa, Golbazar Municipality-8, Siraha, passed away on Friday, July 12th, 2024, after a snakebite.

According to the District Police Office, Khatun, originally from Sangrampur, Parsa Rural Municipality, Sarlahi, was bitten by a snake while removing ashes from her stove.

She was first taken to the Jayakali Snakebite Treatment Center in the Chaharwa Sainik Gan Complex. However, due to insufficient treatment options there, she was transferred to the Phul Kumari Mahato Memorial Hospital in Karjanha. Sadly, she did not survive.
