A 35-40-year-old woman was found dead near a farm in Panauti, Kavrepalanchok district on Tuesday morning.
According to District Police Office Kavre, Deputy Superintendent of Police Rajkumar Shrestha informed that the woman’s body was discovered around 6:15 am beside a field behind a milk factory in Ward No. 4 of Panauti Municipality.
Shrestha said that the deceased woman, Shanti Tamang, was a resident of Ward No. 4 of Banepa Municipality. Her 15-year-old son, Sanjay Tamang, had reported the incident to the police.
Further investigation into the incident is underway, according to the police.
