Gorkha: A 28-year-old woman was brutally murdered in her home in Chyangli, Palungtar Municipality-7, Gorkha district. Rashmi Kumal was found seriously injured with multiple stab wounds on her neck, ear, and head. She succumbed to her injuries while receiving treatment at Laxmi Hospital in Dumre, Tanahun.
District Police Office spokesperson Saroj Karki confirmed the incident and stated that the investigation is ongoing to identify the perpetrator. Police believe that Kumal was attacked while she was sleeping in her home.
The victim’s body was handed over to her family for funeral rites after a post-mortem examination.
