A woman’s body was discovered on the banks of the Roshi River in Kavre district on Saturday evening. The deceased, believed to be around 40-41 years old, was found naked in the Namthar Watan area of Panthali, Ward No. 8 of Temal Rural Municipality.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Raj Kumar Shrestha, the local authorities received a report about the body around 6:30 PM. The woman has since been identified as Aarti La, wife of Chhatra Bahadur Lama from Chiuribas, Ward No. 9 of Roshi Rural Municipality.
The District Police Office Kavre has initiated an investigation into the incident to determine the cause of death.
